Timeline

As we connect with family and friends, share this news, hug and pray and care for each other... it gets difficult to keep the details straight in the tangle of our emotions.  Here's the current timeline:

October 29, Monday - the big news (shock and emotional upheaval but also the most precious time with family)
October 30, Tuesday - met with kidney surgeon guy, he had a solid, achievable plan (surgery, radiation, chemo), Shawn and I left feeling positive, Mom and Dad flew home from Hawaii to be with us, such a huge blessing, friends and family circling around us, shock and blessing mixed together, chuckling at surgeon's comment, "oh! your numbers are great, you could have a kidney out tomorrow!"
November 1, Thursday - scope of bladder, all is clear, praise God!  kidney surgeon guy looks at CT scan and says, "Hmm, that's small (tumour), very small, it's small, don't know how it could have travelled", we celebrate the two good news-es, an answer to prayer!
November 2, Friday - kidney surgeon guy advises surgery will be (pray this date sticks) November 14 to remove left kidney, Kristin expresses concern with killer pain in shoulder and positioning during surgery and in recovery he's gonna work on a plan around that, home to celebrate Kyle's 14th Birthday!!!!!  Love you son!
November 3, Saturday - bloodwork, the works, praying all numbers are as they should be for a fantastically healthy chick such as I believe myself to be!
November 4, Sunday - meet with lung specialist guy
November 7, Wednesday - CT scan of kidney because kidney guy didn't think the first pictures were good enough

Still a fair bit up in the air, but the beauty part is that God is in control so we don't need to worry.  God is in control and yes, this is serious, but not hopeless!
